A range of digital and analogue converters are available to interface the resolvers and potentiometers to the real world. The electronic circuit boards  can be integral  to the device, or as a separate card.  Interfaces  include 4 to 20 mA, RS232 , SDI-12, and USB .

Precision Varionics Ltd specialise in the design and manufactureof all types of shaft angle sensors. The base range comprises wirewound potentiometers and conductive plastic potentiometers for the industrial and defence markets, usually to customer  specification.

Precision Varionics Ltd also design and manufacture resolvers in international frame size 11. These can be full 360 degrees, or limited angle in a shorter length. Radiation resistant versions are available, and all can be suppled with 16-bit digital converters.
